Make sure you lay out the design and the uncut paper and overlap them to make your cut lines prior to cutting. I think if you have any wallpapering skill you could do this. Use an exacto knife (razor knife) If you are worried about matching patterns get a none patterned one like I had. After a few days it is more "on there" but still peels off well. If you mess it up hanging it it comes right off. I could have cut out the squares and hung them individually to make a checkerboard stained glass effect too I guess.

I have windows with crossing wood squares inside the two panes of glass and stopped the cling half way up the window. like all blue and green like monet's waterlillies. It wasn't bad because I used one that was a water colored one. If so, how hard was it to cut them to fit together for the larger size? I'm afraid of having a hard time matching seams, and I hate to spend $40 on the stuff and start cutting into it and then hate it. Has anyone used those transfers on a window that was much larger than the transfers (the transfers are 24x36). I have a window in my office that is 35" x 72", and I would love to put the Amber Glass or the Versailles simple opaque pattern with the gothic-style crosshatching on this window however, I can't figure out how on earth the sizes available for these decals would work on this window.

I do have a question for anyone who has used the stained glass "Artscapes" window cling decals that are available at Home Depot. Sorry about the blurry pics, I'm still learning about all of the little "best shot selector" features on my new camera. I've got one more to paint, now, and then it's hanging artwork, etc. More house pics will be posted as I get more rooms where I'm relatively happy with them. Any suggestions on colors for the sheers would be great!) Now to get some art on these bare walls and some curtains up (I'm thinking about either burgundy or black (or both) sheer panels.not sure yet, though. I'm diligently working my way through fixing the bare white walls in here, so here's the most complete room in the house: I live in Old Hickory, TN (just outside of Nashville) and I bought a new house in May.
